Hi there!

A bit more about me: I am an artist and photographer currently living and working in Indiana (and visiting as much of the rest of the world as I can). I love reading almost as much as I love making beautiful art, and nearly always incorporate books, literature, or esoteric knowledge into my artworks. I am a self proclaimed nerd who loves Doctor Who, Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter, Peter Pan, and Neil Gaiman. I am fascinated by stories as well as the sea, and I am in love with underwater photography (yes in Indiana). The name for Lusicovi Creative comes from my Armenian heritage. “Lus” means “light” and “Covi” means “sea.”

Basically, I am a giant nerd and am fascinated by stories, the sea, the stars, and exploring questions like "why are we here?" and "what is the human condition?" and "why are we all still so universally drawn to fairytales?" 

Most importantly, I believe in magic. Not in the sense of wands and wizards and spells, but in an everyday sort of magic. I believe in the magic of people. Of what they can do and achieve with passion and love and determination. Of how they can connect with other people and the world around them on a daily basis. I believe that there is a powerful type of magic in human connections, that emotions are how we connect, and I believe in capturing and spreading that magic and imagination to inspire the world.

A piece of art, whether a painting, a song, a story, or a portrait, is a preserved memory of the most magical thing on earth: people. Across space and time, the most important thing about art is its ability to preserve that magic and to connect people.

I run my business as a boutique studio, which means that I am here to help you every step of the way, from the brainstorming to the session, to deciding how best to display and share the images we create together, I want to capture your magic, your story, in a wonderful and creative way so that you can preserve it forever and share it with the world.

I believe that collaboration-when two or more creative souls come together to better express their creative gifts-that, my friends, is where the true magic happens.
